My (not so) Creative Space

On Tuesday I finished last week's green aprons and thought you might like a squiz.

I'm really happy with how they turned out and hope their new owner will like them too.

Today, however, is not so creative.  I'm at the beginning of organising 135 kids to get their Grade 6 graduation jumpers for next year.  Yep, that's a lot of kids in grade 6! It's a big school.

So it's looking at designs, timelines, lists and getting my little ducks in a row before I chat to the school principal tomorrow.

Maybe if I'm lucky I'll be able to do a bit of sewing ...

My Creative Space

In my Creative Space there has been more playing with free motion stitching in the form of linen pot holders.

And sewing up a couple of "Cath" aprons for an order and a few more for the stock box.

These guys were destined for the market on Sunday but they'll have to wait for next month.

In the juggling act that is life, we've been thrown a basketball this week. So I thought I would continue juggling the "kids", "family", "daughter", "wife", "friend", "mum", "school", "kinder" and "socially acceptable side of sane" balls (amongst others) and put the "market" one down for the moment so that they don't all crash around us.

My Creative Space

Today is trying to squeeze out a couple more aprons between running around after the little people - Thursday's are a blur this year.

(sorry rubbish photo's today - camera battery nearly flat, dark cloudy morning, kids fighting and we're running late around here as usual)

Sunday is market day (and the stock box is looking a little skinny...).
