My Creative Space

Today is trying to squeeze out a couple more aprons between running around after the little people - Thursday's are a blur this year.
(sorry rubbish photo's today - camera battery nearly flat, dark cloudy morning, kids fighting and we're running late around here as usual)
Sunday is market day (and the stock box is looking a little skinny...).

If you're a Melbourne person and fancy something to do on Sunday morning why not come and visit the Mulgrave Makers Market.

Lots of great stuff, yummy food, wonderful farmers market and lovely smiling people like me who would love you to say Hi!
Hope to see you there!

Pop over to Kirsty's to see lots of clever stuff.

Circle Work

Many years ago "circle work" involved my 2 brothers, 1 V8 Kingswood, 1 paddock and lots of dust. Not as much dust these days ...

Tea-towels for Sunday's market.
Pop down to Mulgrave Makers Market and Farmers Market on Sunday (8am - 1pm) and say hello!

Cheers

My Creative Space...

I wish it was like this...

but it is a crazy mess getting aprons and skirts finished for Sunday's market.

If you're in Melbourne on Sunday head to the Mulgrave Makers Market from 8am until 1pm. They also have their weekly Farmers Market on at the same time so you can get some fabulous fruit & veg and heaps of other yummy goodies. (I'm hoping the sausage people and Benny's berries will be there - Yum)
Make sure you say hello!
Hopefully I'll have some stuff finished to put on the rack.....

Immortalised In Chocolate!

Check it out - Ohjoh in chocolate! How sweet (excuse the pun) and they were delicious! The guys at the Wise Foundation who organise the Mulgrave Farmers Market celebrated their market's first birthday today. All stall holders received a fabulous lunch afterwards and these great cupcakes to celebrate. How nice they are! Thanks guys!!!
It was a busy and successful market too and the rain held off - thankfully.
Here's Pam (from Greensacks) and I about to devour them.
Now I need a nanna nap (and I look like it too - 5.30am is an early start on a Sunday) ... ah well, a girl can dream can't she.

Hope you've all had a great weekend!

Check out my bags!

Mmm sounds almost naughty doesn't it ? ....

Just market day today (Mulgrave Farmers Market) and it was freezing! Lucky the coffee ladies were on hand with a piping hot chocolate at a very early hour this morning.
Next door was Lisa from Pink Heart Designs and I couldn't help myself. Who doesn't love a good bag ? So these two have come home to live at our house.

Lisa doesn't have a web life yet for her label but may one day and when she does I'll pop it on here in case you're interested.
Needless to say any money I made today I spent on bags. Ah well ...
Hope you've all had a great weekend.

Kennel Makeover .... (& Market Rundown)

Chalk, water, dog kennel ....

A crescendo of colour (yes, I had to check the dictionary for that one...)

Does Jezza, our ever patient little friend, approve?

Had the Mulgrave Farmers Market this morning - great weather, happy people and yummy food.

The best bit, other than spending the day with my lovely sister who came for the ride, was that my stall was next to Pam from Greensacks. Laughed and talked the entire morning - got to love that woman! And that product! Check them out they're brilliant - and you can buy them online too ... go on you know you want them !! (helps the planet too .....)

Made these little skirts and sold them all! Got to love that. Didn't even get a chance to pop them on either etsy or madeit. Will have to make some more.

Hope you've all enjoyed your weekend.

Cheers

PS think I might do my first ever giveway for post number 20 .......hmmm.... this is number 19 ... watch this space ........

Green Sacks!

Ok so it's not really Ohjoh news but I wanted to share the joy.

To quote my son "these are awesome!".

Check out my greensacks that I bought from the lovely Pam at the Mulgrave Farmers Market. (A fellow Bizness Babe who is divine! - you've got to love someone that has a brilliant idea, follows it through and makes a business out of it!)

And her bags are awesome! I love that they are washable, reusable, scrunchable, stretchy and that they replace plastic bags! And they hold heaps. What more could we want ?

I just have to remember to keep a stash in my handbag for those impromptu trips to the fruit shop.

Thanks Pam for making it easy for the rest of us to do our little bit and be green.

mmm is this a shameless plug ???? possibly but they are great! Check them out www.greensacks.com.au .

Cheers
